TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Closing and financial data quality control activities:
►Controlling over accounting entries and transactions booked daily by the accounting team,
►Preparation of the monthly / quarterly and annual financial statements for EMS Switzerland,
►Preparation of the consolidated monthly / quarterly and annual financial statements for EMS Group related entities,
►Review the VAT and tax forms and submit to the fiscal authorities,
►Preparation of supporting documentation provided to the auditors as the main point of contact.
Financial data production – accounting activities:
►Booking of transactions related to the fixed assets (update fixed assets tables and amortisation plans, book monthly depreciation),
►Booking of transactions related to the financial instruments unrealised results,
►Booking of month-end and year-end provisions, accruals and adjustments (in accounts receivables, payables and inventory),
►Overseeing of the intra-group transactions including adequate documentation of inter-company balances,
►Preparation of specific costs analyses according to internal clients’ requests,
►Support of the EMS SA budgeting process.
Continuous improvement process over financial data production:
►Contribution to the maintenance of the accounting manual,
►Contribution to the update of the ICS documentation and control environment,
►Improvement of the controls over the financial data production (automation of recurring accounting entries, financial reporting, improving processes around finance topics),,

► Strong ability to present complex solutions in clear, simple terms.
EDUCATION & PERSONAL SKILLS
►Bachelor in economics / finance, Swiss expert in Finance & Controlling or Swiss Certified Specialist in Accounting,
►Fluent in French and English,
►5-10 years of experience,
►Experience in ERP,
►Experience in accounting activities,
►Experience in project definition and management,
►Experience in consolidation / Swiss GAAPs RPC,
►Excellent communication and organisational skills, capacity to work in a fast moving environment, working on multiple projects simultaneously,
►High attention to detail and accuracy, while having capacity to analyse opportunities and issues at a Group- and Strategy-level,
►Highest standards of honesty and integrity.
